If you live near , Sunday's flooding hit fast. Starting around 5 p.m. on Nov. 1, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue answered more than 70 calls to 911 from the area of unincorporated central Palm Beach County. Nearly 100 residents were trapped in stranded vehicles, and crews found cars floating with people still inside.

Drones with thermal cameras circled the stranded cars over Century Village, Cypress Lakes and the Tennis Club, the department said. Firefighters then waded in and used high-water vehicles and brush trucks to bring people to higher ground. Everyone made it out, and no one was injured.
