About this event

We'll be hiking at a moderate pace approximately 5-6 miles round trip, reaching the Ocean to Lake Trail and hiking through the Loxahatchee Slough for a bit, stopping at the observation tower for a short break. The trail has minimal shade, so a hat and plenty of water is a must! No water, no hike! So be prepared!

Let's meet at 7:30 AM at the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area parking lot. We will start hiking no later than 7:45 AM . We start on time, so please don't be late or you will be hiking by yourself!

NOTE: There is a good chance the trail will be wet, muddy and overgrown. If you don't want to get your shoes wet and/or muddy, then this hike may not be for you. There are no restrooms available.

Want to bring along a friend? They will have to register on Meetup and RSVP separately.

Trailhead Coordinates: 26.85291, -80.21533
