On Sept. 15, the Kravis Center will host a meal-packing event for the Palm Beach County Food Bank from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers will pack 300,000 meals to help 192,000 local residents in need while enjoying free food, a live DJ, and a peanut butter food drive.
🎓 Education
The School District of Palm Beach County cut 244 jobs after student enrollment fell, including 214 teacher, 24 support staff and 6 administrative positions.
District leaders say they will reassign impacted workers and impose a hiring freeze to help balance the budget.
