Thanksgiving Break Art Camp at IHUB

Ages 5–13 • November 23–25 & 27, 2026 • 8:30 AM–5 PM

A welcoming space for children to explore their ideas and cultivate a creative practice while school is out.

At IHUB, we help children build a relationship with their own creativity: noticing what interests them, experimenting with materials, making choices, and returning to ideas with fresh curiosity. We value the experience of creating as much as the finished work.

What will my child do?

We offer materials and creative invitations that give children a starting point, with room to follow their interests. They can develop an idea, try different approaches, revisit something they’ve started, or discover a new direction.

Our facilitators support this process with encouragement, thoughtful questions, and optional skill guidance. Each child’s work unfolds differently, reflecting their interests, choices, and pace.

Does my child need art experience?

No previous art experience is needed! Children can arrive full of ideas or unsure where to begin. We help them find a starting point and grow comfortable exploring.

What does “child-led” mean?

Children have a voice in what they create and how they approach it. Our facilitators provide a supportive environment, introduce possibilities, and help when a child wants to learn a technique or work through a challenge. There is room for both independence and guidance.

Will my child bring home a finished project?

They may! Some ideas become finished pieces, while others lead to experiments or work a child wants to revisit. A creative practice includes trying, adjusting, and discovering. We celebrate those experiences alongside what children make.

What should my child bring?

Lunch is included! If your child is a selective eater, has food preferences, or has dietary restrictions, please pack a lunch that works for them. Please let us know about food allergies or dietary needs before camp so we can discuss arrangements.

We recommend a labeled water bottle, comfortable clothes, and an extra set of clothes that can get messy—exploring materials is part of the creative process!

Monday–Wednesday, November 23–25, and Friday, November 27

8:30 AM–5 PM

For children ages 5–13.

IHUB will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26.

Choose the days that fit your family

• Full day: $90 per child

• All four days: $342 per child—a savings of $18

• Each additional sibling: $81 per day or $324 for all four days

Sibling pricing is 10% off the regular rate. Sibling and bundle discounts do not combine; each child receives the greater savings.
